They sicken me tbh, you know the types, the ones who you see on tv holding up an iPad when they get a close up of their superstar hero. Its trendy to be seen at a game at that level these days.
There will be a shit load of them at Cardiff right now who turned up last season, bought a red shirt and started been a "fan" of Cardiff.
Shame really as Cardiff was a right club back in the day, Ninian Park was a place you went to kinda hoping you made it out of alive
And Vincent Tan is one of these, just with money. As soon as they get relegated and the parachute payments dry up, he'll be out of there in an instant, probably leaving the club up shit creak with wages they cant afford, closely followed by all the red shirted wankers who will instead turn up at Swansea or somewhere, leaving the real fans to pick up the pieces, we've seen it over and over again and STILL nothing gets done about it.

This isn't the first i've heard of it. My mate who supports preston always bangs on about it.
I'm a west ham fan. We haven't witnessed any decent glory (bar the play off final) for a long long time.

My post was about this new generation of football fan, that has spung up in the past 10 years, "fans" that are couldnt care less about a clubs history or heritage so long as they can get their slice of premier league football, because its become fashionable to been seen to go.
Its makes me despair when i hear so called Hull and Cardiff fans saying "ah but its just a name/colour, if it gets us some quick money (which will disappear as fast as it comes) and EPL football who cares". These are people who only got into football in the last few years, they dont care about anything, just so long as they can wear their new replica shirt with EPL badges on the sleeves and dance to some goal music. They are the type of people you cannot talk to about football because if they were a car person, they'd be the ones that banged on about how their new ebay chip has added 50bhp. They dont have a clue and they never will, because they are only into it because its cool and as soon as it turns sour, which it will, they'll be onto the next cool thing to do, or choose a different club.
Where i mentioned all premier league fans are glory supporters and everyone should support a lower league team is beyond me?
