Anyone own one of these? Seen a reviews now and it looks like a good phone, done some looking about and found it on contract on three for £29 for phone and £33per month 500mins, 5,000 texts and "all you can eat" data

Just pointing this out its not an S4 but an S3 (NO 4G) On Orange / EE , 600 mins / unlimited texts / 250mb . Cost £0 upfront /£11.99 a month (24 months) bought it for my Mum for Xmas.

Not saying this deal is for you but suited my gift needs.

sold my iphone 5 and jumped over to android with the s4, took a bit of getting used too being so used to ios but few weeks with it and im sold, so much easier to transfer stuff to and from the phone, music, pics, files etc, the ability to again customise your phone the way you want again is also a big sell for me, had no faults with mine at all

I think they're pretty shit. Out the box it comes with a tonne of crap installed so you have to install the Google Play Edition ROM to make it acceptable. It's got to have the worst camera on it I've ever had the misfortune to use. The speaker is crap. It proves that OLED screens aren't quite there yet with the amount of ghosting you get when scrolling (black text on a white background is the worst). They're also slightly too big for one handed use.

HTC is of better build but i've found a new love for my S4 with the Google Play Edition rom installed!

I have just made the jump from HTC One X (Last 4 phones have been HTC) to a S3, S3 is miles better. IMO HTC build/device quality is rubbish, although I do prefer their interface a little over the Samsung interface.

My Missus got a S4 shortly after they launched and she loves it never had a fault other than when she dropped it face down on the path and smashed the screen

her own fault but insurance coved it
