Good Afternoon,
I am looking at setting up a new network that will have a couple servers attached to a SAN. I need a way of getting data onto the SAN so I will be attaching a PC to the same network. Now I would like multiple users to be able to RDP into this terminal (each with their own local account) at any one time. I know it is not possible on Windows 7 by default but there is a well published reg hack for it (http://www.serverwatch.com/server-tutorials/how-to-enable-concurrent-remote-desktop-sessions-in-windows.html)
Am I missing anything obvious when it comes to a legit way to accomplish this? Are there any software packages that would allow multiple users to RDP in (using their own local accounts)?
It’s for a business application so I am keen to keep in line with the Microsoft EULA and not hack the registry.
Cheers,
Doug

Terminal Services with appropriate CAL's.
Think it's actually called Remote Desktop Services now.

So I can enable this on the Windows 7 machine and allow other users on their windows 7 PC's to RDP into the central box?

What John said, it's called Terminal Services in 2008, RDS in 2012
