Friend just called me to say a rear coil spring has snapped on his Corsa C. Going to get the rears replaced with him, but wondered if it's worth picking up any cheap new parts to go with it such as anti roll bar bushes, drop links, etc.

Anything that is likely to want replacing? It's a 52 plate.

Only thing id do is inspect the rear shocks to see if they're leaking.

If they are, replace, if not. Just do the springs. They are very easy quick and easy to replace.

We decided to just buy springs for now, then give the whole lot a good inspection and then buy whatever we think is needed.

Needs heater matrix doing too, pissing coolant into the footwell

corsa c's are piss easy to change the rear suspension on, dont even need to take the wheels off

Yeah judging by where the coil snapped I've a feeling that it will fall out when we jack up the car

Yeah, done the brake servo reseal already, but now he's leaking coolant into it!
