Is a family near where i work, two daughters and a son, the children are late 20s-early 30's.
The children don't work, they drive land rovers, skyline GTR and always riding around on horses.
They have lived in a council house for many years, recently the children inherited £2.5million from their parents and now live right next door to the office in a £1.2million house.
How do you get a council house?

Have as many kids as possible and tell them you are a single parent. Works better if you're a female.

Is it a council owned house or do they own it? There are loads of privately owned ex council houses about

As above, could very well own it. Pretty sure you can just pay the rent out of your own pocket too and not necessarily in receipt of housing benefit.

I remember you used to be a fairly intelligent guy, you now come across as a retard that's confused by the most simple of things.

I don't really remember much about you about from you being a bit grumpy, picking up on others people comments and also correcting grammar and spelling

Sometimes it's just a front like insurance fronting (named drives in parents names etc)

You can rent houses from the council, then buy them at 35% discount.
Not everyone that lives in council houses is in receipt of housing benefit.

They are, pretty much.
ex council homes are different as anyone could be in them.
My brothers other halfs parents bought their council house at a massive discount, then gave it to their daughter and my brother.
now he has no mortgage and plans on moving out in 5 years. Lucky bugger.
house is in chigwell so will be worth a few bob.

How do you work this out? is your comment based on what you've read in The Sun about Britains ''Benefit culture''

Completely clueless moronic comments. You really haven't got a clue about the world outside of your windows have you?
Can you explain to me how living in a council house you intend on buying at 35% discount makes someone thick?
I would say you are the idiot for paying over inflated amount on your house.

My house appears to have increased in price by around 25k from when I purchased it. That doesn't seem particularly idiotic to me.
in hindsight, I wish I wouldn't have wasted so much money on that focus st and put more towards my property.

Yes, they are absolutely ridiculous and show how little you know A typical comment made by readers of red top rags and those that have lived inside a bubble their entire life.

I do read the sun, it makes good reading material at 2am on a night shift.
I guess you could also say I've live in a bubble, in that I've never been unemployed or felt the need to ask the council or anyone else for help.

Thats great and I'm not sure why you keep telling me you have a job. It's not really that special I'm afraid to tell you. I'm pleased to say I too have never been unemployed and am currently earning a very good wage, nor have I had any help from the council.
The issue I have is the utter bollocks you have spouted in this thread, and that I do not believe for a second they are your real views.
