look at it flipside tho, when we playd them last year it kickstarted 12 months in which no-one scored more league points than us. if you play well (lol) and don t get thumped (rofl) then it could be the kick in the arse you need (lmao)

The only thing we have on our side is that no one expects us to do anything so pressure is off in that respect.

Munich will win comfortably but then Munich would beat the vast majority of teams comfortably as they are even better than last season when, as a team, they were streaks ahead of everyone.
Good draw but then it was never going to be a bad one considering the teams left in the competition. Pure glamour.

60/40 as I see it for our match. PSG will be favourites, but us being home second is what I would of wanted, and thankfully that's what we got. Reckon we have a good chance, though, certainly not as difficult as what it could of been had we of drawn Bayern, Barca, or Real Madrid.
Can't see United getting past Bayern, but it won't be a mauling as some might predict. Logically, it should be, but football doesn't always work logically. Bayern at home in the second leg is probably not what United would of needed if they thought they had a slight chance. Although, the last few CL games at home for Bayern haven't been a walk over exactly.

I see Mourinho is now spreading his charm to the fans.
Chelsea are, under no circumstances whatsoever, underdogs against PSG. Any suggestion otherwise is utter bollocks.

I like that ethos.
And in a way, I think we possibly are. Slight underdogs, not huge, just slight. PSG are a very, very good side. Organised defensively, good quick attacking midfield, especially on the counter, and utterly lethal up front.
Sure we're at home in the second leg which I prefer, though.

That sounds the same as Chelsea without the utterly lethal up front part. Plus you've got Mourinho as your manager and they haven't. That's worth something.

Exactly. And the utterly lethal part is pretty fundamental. Clearly, they have that, and we don't. And again, clearly those two individuals are match winners and can score a goal out of nothing. But our defence I would say is more solid than their defence.
And of course, having Jose is huge. Hope he can make a difference. I'm sure he'll have something up his sleeve.
But of course, Cavani and Ibra is a massive worry. We have injury prone Torres and Eto'o
