My mrs had hers done . Lazer I think . Cost about £200 . Seemed to go whiter but I think it's got to be bad otherwise your dentist would do it

I've only had it done at my mates beauty salon. Obviously not a home kit. Blue gel and a UV light or something. It took about an hour but did see decent results.
Not sure what the home kit consists of but if it's a gel and light kit thing then I don't see why you shouldn't get the same results.

Had mine done with the gel and uv light, definitely whitened them, but you need a few sessions at least.
Brothers fiancee had moulds made for her by her dentist and she had to wear them whilst sleeping with gel in them. Her teeth are lovely now but cost a fair few bob.
Crest whitening strips are also supposed to be decent, but as always, professional is your best bet of getting nice white teeth.
Be aware, your teeth won't whiten beyond their natural colour. So if you want to be joey essex, you'll need veneers.

Crest Professional 3D Whitestrips are very good. I use them every few months.

The guy who did that photoshop could at least have masked the teeth, so he didn't whiten the skin as well.

It's not a photoshop. That's my teeth you nugget ~
If you look closely you'll see they are two different pictures. Not one which has been photoshopped

Either way, the white balance is clearly adjusted to make the second pic less yellow. Just look at the different skin tone.

I took the pics my self in the same room, same light and both at arms length.
The skin does look lighter, so maybe my flash (on ETTL) flashed a 1/3rd of a stop brighter but since the pics were taken so I could notice a difference I definitely didn't intentionally do it.

Found the original pics and used the exact same reference point for the white balance, so this is more accurate.

I see no reason why you would and I wasn't trying to say you did.
I assumed the pictures were taken/used by a dentist who might have a different agenda than you, though.
No tonal difference in that last comparison so somebody definitely (intentionally or not) tampered with the first one you posted.
