As above, good alternative to an outside tap??
Bought a tap kit from BnQ and research shows they are meant to be shite, leak, and don't supply enough water to run a pressure washer due to the small hole they pierce in the water supply pipe. Don't want to waste £30 getting it fitted for it to be useless. Can get a proper kit fitted but would be considerably more and im a tight cunt. Have seen these suction hoses as an alternative and got good reviews when the hosepipe ban dramas were going on.
Good or bad idea??

Although the tap kits you are talking about are shit, I managed to run a pressure washer off one that was less than a dribble from a hose, they don't need as much as you think.
It's not any more expensive to put a proper tap in, probably even cheaper. All you need is to cut a bit of pipe out and stick a T in. Think mine was about a tenner off ebay.

£17 though, not £10.

Somone fitting it just get a proper tap. It will take roughly 5 minutes extra to fit it.
It's nothing to do with water pressure either, those kits make a tiny little hole and don't normally cut the piece fully out, meaning you get a nice flap to restrict flow.
