i have put this on my Facebook, but i thought id ask on here.

any recommendations for stuff to play along to. i don't have a double pedal yet so preferably nothing too metal related. I've been tapping along to a bit of hip hop and some 90s indie stuff, and avril lavigne. so any suggestions are welcome.

I'd prob watch some basic drum lessons on YouTube first tbh. Learn what goes into drumming instead of just leaning which boxs to whack

I think one of the most underrated drummers is Phil Collins; his drum battle including the 'Bar Stool' conversation with Chester Thompson during the Turn It On Again Tour in 2007 was awesome.

Machine Head, Amon Amarth, Devildriver etc really fun to learn to play them. Need a double pedal / 2 bass drums, obviously.

I did think about that and thought nic probably owns a gorilla suit. But didn't want to cause any tension. He might chuck poo at me.
