Basically a "little money on the side" jobs, has anyone got one, if so what?

Have you got a name for it?
Colour scheme?
Family/Friends only or everyone where you live?

Just interested really as would be something nice to do just for a bit more disposable cash.

Rental Properties, Plastering and CAD work.

Word of mouth mainly although I've picked up a long term plastering contract with a local hotel which is being refurbished room by room and no 'business' name as such, just me.

I sell firewood, woodland coppicing, pressure washing work and have a few sheep and lambs that I breed/slaughter too. All word of mouth, stopped advertising as I was taking too much work on.

That's on top of my normal 9-5 job.

Do a bit of graphics design and web work on the side. And the occasional hand job, of course.

When I get spare time, I just do more of my day job

Maybe if I stopped going on CS during the day, I wouldn't have to.

Can't be bothered with it. Working is shit enough and I'm not money driven.

Guys at work do it and earn quite a bit. £35-50 per hour. I'd rather get on with stuff I need to do. Like fix things or tidy up.

Used to do ALOT of web design before the kids came along but don't do so much now.
Working on 1 site and just completed another site.

Currently working on a brochure for the company I work for out of hours.

I find after putting the kids to bed and having tea, the little free time I have in the evenings I don't feel like working.

Whatever you can do, tell people and charge them for it.

I used to do a bit of manual work in my slack time for family & friends. Fitting bathrooms, tiling, fence building, decking, whatever really but don't bother now I've got a good overtime day rate.

Little bit of IT Support for business. Started to value my time off a bit more at the moment and turning work down if there's not much money in a job.

Couldn't if I wanted to. Sponsored by my regular job and not allowed to work for anyone else including myself. would have to be done cash in hand but not worth the risk of my visa being cancelled.
