How does the VBOX work Chris (too lazy to google)? I guess it just has GPS coordinates for start/finish lines and then potentially sectors too?

I've got an Android app which attempts to do that, it worked really well* at Cadwell but I just cannot get a GPS signal on any device at Blyton so it just doesn't work properly. I was thinking of getting an external bluetooth GPS receiver/transmitter but not sure if it would be any better.

* - as far as I know, laptimes may have been way off...

works using GPS, but its pretty accurate.

harrys lap timer on the iphone uses gps aswell and can give you deltas.
