I'm a sucker for a pair of nikes myself. Don't really like "plain" looking shoes.
Went to Cheshire oaks today and got four pairs of nikes

Anyone got any nice ones?

First 3 pairs are some of the plainest looking Nike's you can buy. I've got some purple and illuminous yellow ones and I'm boring as fuck.

I guess you could say there plain looking. But there colourful atleast. My last nikes were eaten by my dog. They where bright green orange and red. Ones before that were space invader nikes. Black with bright green background and bright pink space invaders.

Not to my taste, I think I'm a bit too old for them, although I've never owned a pair like that.
I mostly wear dc's and Vans

We used to get called names for wearing converse shoes, then around 5 years ago they were everywhere! Price went up loads, shame

I did the same last month at Cheshire oaks. Bought them Air Force 1s in the last pic and was tempted by the second to last ones too.
But I'd already bought some in the asics shop so didn't bother.
Plus the missus didn't look impressed as it was her birthday not mine

Some simple adidas plimcana lo's for me. Got some grey converse but no good for driving as the sole ia about 3 foot thick. Worse than my steel toe'd dealer boots.

Converse are good for driving in? You buy platforms or something?

Remember buying my first pair when I was about 10/11; cost me £15. Then Nike bought Converse a few years later and the price hikes came
Not a fan of the current trend of Hi-top TopMan-esque trainers (like those Nike's) though; they just look like shite to me

Aye they are comfy but the pair I have the soles have gone really plasticky and slippy so I can't drive in them anymore.
They're probably about 8 year old tho :/

Etnies still hold the record for my longest serving pair of shoes, probably knocking 6 years BUT that was at a time when I only owned:
Work shoes
The Etnies
Some Wellies for fishing
So they got some mileage
Lotus Elise 111R
Impreza WRX STi
