The mind truly boggles to try and comprehend the actions of the low life who started that fire. What could possibly justify killing innocent dogs? Poor fucking things The vile being won't get a fraction of what he deserves for doing it too.

Same punishment would be fair, but that won't happen. At least the guards can turn a blind eye to what happens inside.

My partner is a canine carer for a dogs rehoming centre and was obviously pretty upset by this.

Few dogs die (albeit in a horrible way) and everyone goes nuts for it. Thousands of families on the breadline and borderline homeless in the country but no one gives a fuck.

Almost a million pounds raised Amazing!
Always wonder why people don't donate until something terrible happens. Animal shelters need donations all the time, not just when some absolute cunt sets the place alight.

Animals and children - People have sympathy for because neither are responsible for what happens to them. Adults don't tend to get much public sympathy.
I base that on people I know and how they react to these things.

Borderline homeless people still live, and can still go on to have a good life. Being burned alive whilst trapped in a cage is a bit different.

What's happened is utterly tragic and the wanker who did it deserves major punishment for his crime, but I kind of agree with what you're getting at 'set the kid alight' - yet when I've championed terrorists/murderers and the likes should get hanged some have said I'm off my rocker for such an idea

Like for like if there is no reasonable doubt and the circumstances didn't arise because of just a squabble. Is my opinion on corporal punishment!

It's very sad what happened but in an odd way it will be the best thing that's happened to them in a long while.
Let me explain this further:
Dogs homes have hundreds of people looking at dogs that they simply will never take on. The chances are that the majority if dogs that died where the 'problem breed' of staffys. Therefore they have just indirectly got rid of dogs they probably had for far longer than they knew what to do with.
Secondly, they have had the biggest possible media coverage to 'promote' the dogs home.
Thirdly, £1m+ to rebuild and have minor funding problems for the next few years
The Cheshire dogs home(in Warrington) is rammed today through people adopting dogs and donating (I think it's the closest dogs home to the one that burnt) and so in a weird sense, this kid has done wonders for them.

I dont tend to donate to anything like this, otherwise you end up giving away your entire income to any number of just causes. Our way of helping these centres is to always rescue a dog, which we have done for our current and previous one.
This news story was really upsetting for both of us and was just horrific. I sincerely hope there arent any other twats who have a 'copycat' attitude to this sort of thing planning their next move.
