Hi all, Just bought my own property and was asking for some advice where the best place to buy all my bits and bobs (white goods, cooker, electrical, etc etc) . Also any other ideas on things that will come in handy?

Can't help with the cooker etc. But we got out washing machine from ao.com they were very good tbf, delivery was quick, two blokes took the old one away and put the new in the kitchen for us

AO as well.
American fridge came from Argos, randomly, but it was the only place who had it available in the silver finish we wanted. Also very good.

I bought my washing machine on eBay. Someone that bought a new build sold the washing machine the builder threw in worth £400 - I got it for £200.
White goods were from appliances online and john Lewis I think.
Cooker came from b&q on a 20% anything off you can take away deal. I got lucky with that.
Currys have occasional big markdowns on stuff so keep an eye out. If you are on O2 they usually have a priority moment which gives you extra discount too.

John Lewis for the extra warranty. eBay for cheap as you can find.
