If you had an old shitter you wanted rid off for a few quid what would you type into google?
This is not a trick question I'm genuinely curious as I've been working on a website for someone who does scrap car recycling and I'm pretty sure what 'they think' people would enter is nothing like what the general public would actually type into google to find a site.

Surely any normal person would type 'scrap yard location'?

"scrapyard" + location is what I'd type

No, I'd google that anyway and then find out if they'd collect. Google would also show alternatives locally.
If you would search for anything else, it's probably you who is wrong.

Well put it this way.. There are two main scrap yards around here (the only two for miles) both are EU ELV certified and neither collect. They are what come up when you search for scrap yard Berkshire so that's the scrapyard keyword out of the equation.

I'm not looking for anyone to say anything in particular .. and scrap yard isn't even what me or they thought.. They assume people will search for 'scrap my car' which I'm sure a lot of people will but I'll bet there's lots of people selling shitters searching for variations of 'sell my car' and other keywords.

I'd be putting car breakers Davey.
Also vehicle dismantlers/recyclers and scrap metal dealers/merchants.
I actually scrapped a car last week, but already had the name of a breakers who pay decent money and who collect, plus they pay substantially more than the next best place, so didn't actually need to start searching.
