Since changing from my 4S to my 6, I've been having issues with imessage.
No matter what I do, my messages come up from my new number and my email address on everyone else's phone.
I've reset imessage on my phone, changed my details, removed email addresses and re-linked them, changed the number showing in my settings, changed my email address on other people's phones etc... nothing solves it.
Anyone had the same issue and fixed it?

My apple account went fubar when i changed my phone too, imessage wouldnt work what so ever. it was a backend issue i had to escalate to apple to sort
however in the process i found alot of usefull stuff on the apple support forums via google, but i rang them in the end as everything i tried on there didnt work.

OP: I haven't got a iPhone 6, but surely the settings setup wouldn't be too much different on a 5s.
Have you tried going to:
Settings>Messages>Send & Receive then deleting your E-mail Address?

Yep, it doesn't work at all without an email address.
I've tried turning imessage off and back on again too (lol...)

You've probably already done this but when you go settings>messages>send and receive, right at the bottom it should say "start new messages from", make sure your email is not ticked.

Yeah, tried that too.
Having another issue now where group iMessage is coming up with whoever is in the convo plus my old number, plus my current email address

Yep I had that, my private e-mail went to someone it shouldn't when I sent a text. Fucking right old mess.
