Cannot believe the money these two are doing on eBay? What on earth is so special about them, granted there both mint especially the blue one (the red one appears to have seen the blue one and jumped on the band wagon) and also well specced etc but a few years ago that was £4000 kind of car really don't see it myself! Are old vauxhalls finally starting to have there day and be worth something like fords and vws?

Genuine mk1 SRs I have seen do good money and sports etc but xe and let gsis etc I have never seen go for this kind of money it's double what they used to go for

Suppose it's getting to the point where it's nostalgia for some people. The 'young lads' that had them back in the day are now grownups with more money. Suppose there are some of those out there that can afford to relive those days.

If low mileage and not rusty then yes. I'm not expert but I'd say around £2-3k

I've got a clean, low mileage, almost rust free, totally standard champagne gold, 2 door hatchback Nova 1.2 Merit on an 'F'.
I thought it'd be worth 8 or 900 tops.
It's got a few little foibles i'd like to sort, but it's 26 years old so to be expected I suppose.

Sorry haven't been in touch john haven't gave it any more thought was going to look at one this weekend but everything's been put on hold step dads been rushed into hospital yesterday so Iv been trying to run the family business while he's there and also do my own job along with hospital visits and the missus being due any day it's on hold lol
