1 1/2 years as a graduate trainee
3 months as a permanent employee

Work for a good company, enjoy my job, enjoy the team I work with, get paid well considering the short time I've been with the company, buying a house. Can't see myself going anywhere soon.

9 1/2 years, started as S/A, then moved to workshop controller, then after sales manager and recently moved to run the PDI centre so I oversee prep & onward delivery of circa 8,500 cars. Really enjoy it so can't see a change anytime soon. Plus wife is joint MD of the company so couldn't jump ship anyway.

Back in the motor trade, left it 4 years ago to work in the oil industry, but it's on it's arse now.

Finding it alright so far, big overhaul to do though, bit daunting.

Worked designing boats for 9 years until Sept. '14; worked in Advanced Composites since October and leaving my old job is probably the best decision I've ever made.

Managing a McConechys branch, doing MOT's, mechanical repairs, commercial fitting, 24hr call outs,

Didn't miss it tbh, and certainly don't miss doing the hands on stuff
