Hello.

I'm looking for some recommendations for good modifed car insurance.

Preferably somthing that will cover modifications in terms or replacing them as well rather than just listing them and then replacing the car valued at £200.

It would also be required there wasn't any silly limit on how many things you can declare, or having to be over certain age in order to take policy out.

Thanks.

I've had nothing but good dealings with Sky insurance. Occasionally info a company that's £10 cheaper each year, but it's not worth messing around considering how efficient they are.

Was impressed with Greenlight this year, blew my old "subaru specialist" out of the water even with a load of extra mods.

These guys are the best I've found over the past 12 years of modified insurance and engine changes.
I won’t go anywhere else now.

Been with Brentacre for over 5 years now with two different cars, always been cheaper than anyone else.

I'm with Sky. Easy to deal with and good with modifications.

Yeah Flux has been great in the past. However been with Aviva for a couple of years now on my Clio 182 and they're literally half price of the second cheapest... i.e. £400 compared to £800 really don't know how they manage it!

Agree with them being cheap.
Only issue I had was when I took my car off the road and told them I didn't want to renew, they engaged full on cunt mode.
Given that 'leaving' experience, I won't be going back.

Greenlight insurance get a good rating so I read.

I found Adrian Flux wanted nothing to do with me

On the phone with all mods declared and with a year's no claims they said 3k and the guy just told me look elsewhere.

Found Admiral to be cheapest for me personally and I'd say the same for you as you're around my age with the same car and similar mods albeit a smaller engine

Had to quote that... It made howl

They was actually fine with me when I didn't renew due to it coming off the road. And said they look forward to be coming back.

Must of been a bad day for whoever you spoke too.

Thanks for the replies, i'll give them a try.. tried flux earlier today but i'm still waiting on a quote.

Admiral are no good for mods really oJNAo, limit them and don't really cover them just list them to prevent insurance being void.

Ah fair enough, mine are all second hand anyway and I wanted the cheapest insurance I could get as it's all a massive scam

the other/main issue with them is the limit on mods, i'm not going to pay a huge amount more for the mods to be covered in terms or being replaced but i'd probably pay abit more. The car itself is a fraction of whats been paid in total

Ooo only 8 months to wait, bet you're excited.

I've been with Sky for about 4 years now. Got my renewal next month but thinking of heading over to Greenlight as they do track insurance as well
