wanna try sort my system out could do with some advise. at the mo am runnin
15inch kicker sub in smaller ported box due to needin space
infinity 6 by 9s in shelf
5 1/4 mac audio 3way speakers in rear quaters
5 1/4 mac audio components in doors
pyle 1400w amp 4 ch
alpine 600w amp 4 ch
stelth power cap 1 farad
electronic x over (not using as seems to loose qaulity of sound)
kenwood mask head unit only runnin standard tweeters
really wanna improve qaulity of sound and volume thinkin maybe a new 15' sub but what do i get? also could be gettin some 8' poineer 3 ways will they go in doors? or put then in shelf? any idea's would be good

get some better tweeters for a start, you wont believe how much difference they make, even just off the headunit.
if you can afford it i would go for a jl audio sub, even a 10" will pump out more than your 15 if you match the amp correctly. could use an alpine mrd m500 or a jl monoblock.
if you want SQ then dont get those 8" pioneers. no they wont go in the doors without door builds, better off getting some high quality 17cm front component set and amp to power then, ditch the 6x9's completely. right lets start again.
1. get some good front component set, dont run off the headunit, run off an amp.
2. get rid of those 6x9's
3. run the speakers in teh rear door cards off the head unit.
4. run a single 10 or 12 off a monoblock with the cap inline with this.
