Impressive how the plane leaves almost no debris on the outside of the building. It just goes clean in.
Given how soft an aluminium (I'm guessing?) plane is compared to a steel and concrete building, there are some serious forces on display here.

When you look at the steel gurders that literally folded you realise the forces involved
They recovered a lot of structural evidence and put it on displays and you realise how much force was involved in impact but also when they fell

Where does the molten aluminium come into it? Plane + crash I'm assuming? So you're saying the ally plane hitting the building caused massive explosion hot enough to melt steel?

The entire aircraft is manufactured from aluminium. Jet A-1 can burn at over 1000 degrees - enough to melt the airframe ~660 if my school education serves me correctly. Ample water supply from building services to interact with molten aluminium thus producing explosive release. Explosions heard and reported pre-collapse by many fireman attending the scene.
Have a trawl through Google images. There are several pictures showing what appears to be a stream of molten material flowing from the buildings.
They have studied structural failure at length and they could not simulate collapse with only the impact and subsequent damage.
Not sure what happened to the remains. Probably been melted down to be sold very cheaply on the UK market

Add to that you don't need to melt steel, you only need to soften it for it lose its strength. Even in small buildings we have to protect steel in case there is ever a fire, pretty sure it still wouldn't stand up to having a plane crashed in to it though.

I work with wing panels/parts. our process causes lots of alu dust which is highly explosive. Fires on our machines cannot be put out with water because it makes it worse.
the oxygen in the water just fuels it. (not sure of the science behind it)

Spot on. S355 loses about half its yield strength at around 500 degrees IIRC. So if we're beyond melting Aluminium at 660 then it must be down near a 60% loss. I'm not convinced the design factor of safety would account for such extremes.
I'm guessing these fire protection sprays, coatings and the likes would crumble if for instance a plane happened to impact the building?
