Not sure is anyone on here has experience with the newer shape Astra.

I need to change the pads, been putting this off for 5 months since getting the car.

If i change the rear pads, will the auto hand brake be ok. Or is this going to be a pain in the arse like the Focus (same age) whereby everything needs to be plugged in at a main dealer.

I'd go price up a Mokka instead.

It's not fully electric, change the pads like you normally would, pump the pedal plenty of times before putting the handbrake on again otherwise it'll fuck up the motor winding itself out like fuck.

Or go on eBay and spend a fortune on diagnostics so you can put it into service mode.
