dont ya think all suspensions should be dropped for any comp final - so both teams playing are putting out there best and strongest team available?

The penalty is saved and the Player X's side go through to the final. Now without a suspension Player X can play in the final and help his side win.

ok maybe - str8 red in semi = banned - but not for a yellow earlier in comp - and another yellow in semi

Agree with Drew on the yellow's. Its harsh on the player. He might have picked his first card up in the very first match for a dubious foul or handball, then 13 or 14 games later he gets another and misses the final. See Nedved at the end?? He was well upset.
