What's the crack with these? Got a 6 button CD30 which obviously isn't aux compatible.

Can I just throw in a CD30 MP3 with aux and it work or is there more to it than that?

Alternatively is there a decent none OEM head unit with aux, bluetooth etc

Seems you can, need to 'divorce' the radio from the car first which I hopefully will be able to do through OP-COM:

Does yours have aux compatibility on the back? I'm sure there's someone round my end with OP COM.

You can have the aux socket you beautiful man, missus wants the stereo out of her current car in it.

Does £40 sound okay? Covers me buying OPCOM and a Friday night beer.

I used my phone with jck to jack lead to aux on my astra
