can't really comment of rockford or JL, your best bet is Corb or snowy... they seem to be the guys to ask...

Carnt go wrong with rockford amps its gotta b said they r one of the best if not the best.....u can really push them to the limits.
As for the subs, av heard the high end JL audio tend to b better than the rockfords although am runnin a full rockford setup and wudnt change for nething...and the have held the spl world record for god know s how many years....
but yeh, corb shud b able to give ya sum gud advice...
