I want some red Seatbelts for my Z4. Has anyone had this done in their car?
I assume they re-use your original Seatbelt mechanism and just swap the actual belt material.
Any ideas of cost and who actually provides this service?
And I know we all like pics, so here's one.

Bizzare, but first hit on google:
http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=70361
And you are replying at the bottom of the first page
Not that straight though:
quote: As far as i'm aware you can't purchase 'Red Z4 seatbelts' as they aren't manufactured in the correct Z4 sizes and dimensions, HOWEVER if you do a google search for RED Z3 seatbelts, there are plenty of suppliers which sell them and they fit exactly the same as the Z4 ones.

don't even remember that. It was 2 years ago tbh
Inspire automotive was the one I was looking for. Couldn't remember the name. Apparently he charges Ł55 per belt, but obviously they're a bit far away from me, so it'll be a postage job.
Cheers

I also Googled 'bmw z4 coloured seatbelts' and none of those came up in the results.

There is a thing called postage. Narrowing your results if you're being specific.
Top result in google.

I know a guy got yellow ones for a Puma so they are aftermarket, had to send an old set of belts though so they could extract all the parts off them.

I assumed they were 'made to order', as surely they're all different lengths?

nah they just recoil up all the spare length, the bit that plugs in slides up and down the belt.
