Bought myself a 1.7Di combo for a day van.

Spent the last few days cleaning 190k worth of muck out of it.

Need some ideas for upgrades and mods now as there doesn't seem to be many project threads about.

Still getting to grips with it spent the last hour trying to find a perm live in the back tonight without a meter.. no luck yet, back to it tomorrow. (Y)

To be ran with a Split charge relay for lighting, 12v power and inverter in the back.

The inside will be set up as a day van with subtle mods/upgrades outside hopefully. De-Cat, intercooler and high flow filter to start with, but that will be all I'm doing to the engine.

Is it big enough for a day van? Any pics of one already done?

Yeah it's plenty big enough. There's a few about vegas.

It's not supposed to be a proper camper, it's a day van. An alternative to spending a night in a tent..

The inverter and lighting is for the odd occasion I'll end up using it for work. Charging drills etc.

Too big to fit on the drive, too big to fit down small tracks,
too big to fit in lay bys next to rivers,
I wouldn't ever want to park it where it could be damaged..

But most of all what a waste of money..

I've slept in a corsa B..

I've also slept on the back seat of a Tata truck for 9 hours through Nepal.

I don't need luxuries, just something quick and easy
