just had a call from my work asking if i can go for a meeting tomorrow at 1.30pm as some people from head office want to speak with me. for those of u that done know i have been on sick now for 10 months. i had a medical review with them about a fortnight ago so obviously this will be the conclusion.
do u think im goin to get the old heave ho

 Not necessarily, just make sure you look ill, but fed up and missing work when you go in

yes but they can lay me off due to ill health cant they. my review was to see if they think i will ever be fit to return

my specialist and gp say i may be fit in near future this was stated in the report and that i was makin good progress

Do you intend or feel ready to go back to work? Looking at their point of view 10 months is a long time to lose the use of an employee, i take it they are still paying you? They might ask you to leave, but dont let them pressure you into returning to work if you dont feel ready. Anyway, good luck for tomoz.

If you're making good progress as far as the GP's, etc are concerned then they can't really use that as an excuse for sacking you surely?

yes my point exactely and do u know something else.....before i actually went sick i reduced my hours to 8 a week to try and prevent myself from goin takin the time off.......they prolly aint even missed me
