right it happend before but the wire coming off the coil melted away from the solder.... and it went again... re-soldered all conections inside, but sub goes off sometimes...
but if u hold it back as far as it goes for a bit it works again?!
and stays on for ages... but goes off just like that sometimes?!!
help wots doing it?

its a ALPINE V12 - 600w
yeh? thats wot i thought cos the coil sorta picks up like?

If its under a year old then send it back! I sent back a Alpine Type R 15" (500wrms) after i'd ran it for half a year with 900wrms the spiders TORE in two and snapped the tinsel leads - Thank you Ashanti "BABY". Alpine sent me back TWO 12" type R's in replacement!

yeh cheers boys... i didnt buy it new so i cant!
its workin at the mo, the sound quality is fine... i just turned the gains down and make the low pass not so low....
it does just go off sometimes tho...
