Especially when tyres are worn differently. ALWAYS check tyre condition before buying 4x4!

V6. My dad has the normal 2.0 16v, it consistantely goes wrong. Our V6 vectra doesnt go wrong much at all. The 2.0 XE engine is known for blown head gaskets.

you must have a bad engine because the c 20xe is not known for blowing headgaskets but having porous heads.

Not really, some people can actually control power. I went from 1.6 - 1.1 - 1.6 to 1.4 and to ?.?
Depends on driver

1.6 in an Astra is not Power mate.
200(?) brake in a corsa with a chassis only meant for 100 is...

An XE would beat the V6 up to about 70 odd i would think. But the V6 will keep going till you run out of road or balls. My best mate has a V6 and its an awesome machine. Recently got RR'd at 200 but as I said its wierd the way the power is put down.
Also using the F25 gearbox the gears are to long so it churns out 15-16s quarters.
The turbo is an awesome car as ive experienced many times. 13 Second quarters with 330 odd brake. The 4x4 system is only fragile if you neglect it or dont know what your looking for in the first place.
Out of the two, if you do alot of miles on the motorway/dual carrage way get the V6, if not get the turbo and stick a phase kit on it and enjoy yourself.

Sure they are slow. Compared to what?
Dave the 4x4 system is not "shit" as you put it, Gav, russ, richie, John, RDS etc etc are/were all running stupid power and never had any problems. Russ was launching his off the line at crail and giving it death all the way up and has done numerous times and his box isnt swarth yet.
And whats wrong with phase kits exactly?
