STOLEN.....
Can you help???

The GRP 4 Mk2 Escort belonging to Ricky Wheeler was stolen early this morning from outside the Travel Lodge at Pontefract on the A1.

The car is of full tarmac spec, is plain white in colour, reg KDS 286N, the car will be very distinctive due to some very unusual modifications to the bulkhead and watchlink towers and at the time it was stolen, had two white front wheels and two black back wheels. The trailer it was on (also stolen) was a Bateson 4 wheel, tilt bed 2616 model, grey in colour.

The serial numbers for all parts of the car and trailer are known and will be given to all enquirers on request.

There is 14 years of Ricky's life in that car and he would like it back and has offered a £1000 reward for it's return from those who stole it or for information leading to it's return.

i might be the one I saw,I was on my way to the Brooster for some dinner or what ever the place is called. I saw a white MK2 ESCORT cut up some car a nearly crash into the tree's but it was going fast enough to cut up someone.cause I heard a really beefy sound coming from its exhaust, sound very power full. Is it the one?

right! the front wheels wouldn't be original right enough! but it would probably be just a round back box on the car!
Was it Group 4 arched??

ah right! well hat does sound a lot like the car! aprt from the sideskirts!!! im trying to think of a distinguishing factor of the car so i could give u a definate answer
