After a few months of being undecided I think this time I'm definetely gonna sell my GSI.
Basically I want something newer and will have around 6k to spend.
Narrowed it down to the following so far:
Phase2 Saxo VTS (V reg or newer)
Pug 106 GTI
Any other suggestions??

106GTi over the VTS every time! Having said that, you will get a newer, lower mileage VTS than a 106 for 6k.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, VTS's seem to be much cheaper than the equivilant age 106's. My bro has a W reg VTS which is really smart so am tempted by one of them.

106, not been in one, but mate has got a 206gti and my dad has got a 306. Pugs are so nice to drive, hold the road really well and very light cars so the power in them is soooo good.
Pug, look at 206 gti, think you can get one around 6-7k mark now. not sure
