Are they the same? A 1998 1.6 Sport and a 1996 1.4 Sport?

1.4 has f13cr 1.6 has f15cr

think internals are the same, just a different casing.

you can use them on either or though cant u get better acceleration puttin a 1.4 box on a 1.6 but lose it top end. i know it works on ford anyway, im not that clued up on vx

you may have to change releese bearing but it will fit inside it

probably fitted to 1.6 astra gls etc??
