I was given a fine not that along for driving at "unacceptable speeds" with in Uni grounds.
I went today to talk to the Estates manager, and her secretary said that I cannot dispute it, the fine stands and I couldn't even talk to anyone about.
Are they allowed to do this?

Think so if the land actually belongs to college.

They can only do it if they have speed limits posted on the roads at uni, they cant just do you for it if they havent told you how they want you to drive.

Theres 2 signs painted on the road. I was in the carpark, where there are no speed signs.
The carpark is downhill, and the signs are painted at the top of the hill.
There is also no CCTV footage.

Yeah, I was parked in a puddle, and my clutch slipped.
The speed limit is 10, but as I said, there are no signs visible in that area.
I reckon I was going no more that 20...its only a 1.2 and it WAS uphill.
