How many of you go for the odd pint or 6 whilst at work.
I often do this as some days I do not drive to work.
How would my employer feel, would he care?
What is the legal limit, I have had 3 pints today during working hours, can they fire me?
Please discuss?

Depends on the work I guess? Do you deal with the public? Do you look/smell like you've been drinking?

Hmmn, well as long as you don't sound pissed and you haven't got smell-o-phone's installed then I reckon you'll be alright

There is normally something in the Employee Handbook. At my old job we used to go2 the pub everyday with both my bosses who would instigate it. Generally we'd only have 1 pint but on fridays it would turn into 2 or 3 and a lunch hour would become 2 or 3 hours.

very true. I think it is a crime to visit a pub without buying a pint. Its the unwritten rule of the land.
