I tried out some Kahn 17s on my Corsa C (Club model) that my mate had with a 45 offset. To fit them on they needed spacers on the front so the didnt rub on brake calipers.
I am now looking at some brand new 17s. Been to everywhere I can think of round where I live and most places will refuse to fit them, basically saying "we know they will not fit so we wont even try". Halfords even told me 15s wouldnt go on!
I was wondering where the best place to go for some is and get them fitted and what offset etc to go for.
It says and the standard steel wheels that came with the car the the offset is ET 43, so would I be looking at the same offset or what?
Cheers

i had to settle for et42 coz et45's would foul on the brakes. I cant understand why ppl on here are so anal about being strictly et45-49 considering factory fitments go out to et40!!!

So - what offset should I be looking at getting cos ive heard from alot of people about trouble with spacers so I dont really wanna be usin em. So a 40 offset or something like that?
I really dont know where to go for any, everywhere local to be is utter shite, eg Halfords saying 15s will rub.
Help please!!
