Ok the spelling may not be correct, but you know what im on about.
i've bought a nice replacement from Halfords and its a screw in one.
i was just wandering how you guys secure yours making sure it doesnt get nicked by those little fekkers. do you glue it in? what do ya do? i know you need to take it off for a car wash so please help

u get a richbrook one which has an anti-theft grub in it that stops it from being nicked.

Hi Greg, good thinking, i'm sure someone will have it from white lion when you're at work
What i do with my bee-sting is tighten it VERY tight with pliers, then if someone wants to nick it they'll have to use pliers to get it off, and hopefully wont bother cos its too tight.
Don't glue it on as you wont be able to get it back off easily, if you wantr to use something like glue bond it on, then you can get it off if you heat it.

Well the best way is take it of when you park up. It is a pain in the bumm but after a while it becomes routine (spelling). I.E remove stereo, lock car take off aerail Cheers Lee

yea, thats an idea i spoze
i'll have a look and see what i can do, if i can attach the base really tightly and then just unscrew it before i go to the car wash, that would be a better idea

I used as little thread lock (also from Halfords) on mine, then done it up realy tight with a pair of mole grips (I used a rubber glove to stop the grips scratching the arieal). This has workrd for me as I still have mine after a year or so

of corse i wash my car, but when im in a hurry somtimes i just dont have the time to wash her properly, so a quick dash through the car wash will do.
