what r the biggest size speakers u can get inside a corsa door pocket? pricn up stuff 2day an i need 2 find out sum info, cheers all dan

16.5/17cm but watch out for the magnet sizes.

You'll also need the Autoleads speaker adaptors, or you can make a spacer ring to do the same job.

That depends if you are gunna modify your door pocket or not. Ive got 6.5'' speakers in mine and they sound wicked mate, you dont really need anymor than that. Just make sure theres more sound in the front than the back.

Both my 6.5" comps dont fit in my door pockets

i cant remember the maximum mounting depth you can have without spacers, if they are too big are u bothered about ur windows not goin down all the way?

rite i seen these auto leads things in halfords trot is tha em? i dont wana b moddin my pocket jus wan decent soundin speakers in the front 2 go with me 6x9s jus aint got a clue with sizes my m8s got 6.5" 1s an his windows wont go dwn all the way

This is the thing! If the speaker magnets are fairly chunky they wont fit through the hole in the door, leaving you to either cut some of the metal away :S or get door builds

yeah the auto leads collar will allow either 13cm or 16.5cm (i think its 16.5 or 17cm)

Aye, magnets are FAR to big, and thats even ont he new dual mags Kicker ones are twice the size of the duals are, just pulled it all out and compared cos i fancied some better sound that 2 standard speakers 2morrow nite

i have 13cm phoeniz gold componets and autoleads adapters, went straight in, no fuss, sound good enough to me, ain't no competion/show car tho..

Buy the 6.5'' speakers and get a pro to fit them, he will put spacers in so your window will go down, dont ask me how cos i dont have a fucking clue!!

If your gonna get the Autoleads ones then get aAstra ones as they'll allow a deeper speaker but really you have'nt got alot of space. Another thing worth concidering is sound deadening round the pod coz they're pretty flimsey


I had 5 1/4 JLs that were too deep so i had to make fibre glass door builds in stead

on ebay there was a set of kicker mids from 6 1/2 for about £40 10 mins ago, finishing pretty soon.

Oh Nah you can get 6 1/2s in pretty easily aslong as they're not too deep,

The JLs i had were as deep as they were wide
