I am very untechnical in terms so if anyone could help me could you keep it simple please!!
Basically i am thinking of getting a tv screen for the car with a vcd player maybe. Could you hook up a dvd player for home use ie 240volts like you can with a ps2 or whatever using a power converter?
What way would this then wire up with my speakers if i was to use them as well as my headunit?
thanks

Yes but you wouldnt want a huge dvd player in your car!
You can buy miniture 12 volt dvd players that play everything, dvd/vcd/svcd/mp3/cdg/jpeg.
I got one from Aldi's bowt 2 months back for £89

the one i have in my room is about 3-4 inches wider than a ps2 and about 2 inches longer, never really checked the dimensions of the glovebox but it would probably fit on the shelf below it.
is there a website that does all this bargain stuff?? how much would an in dash player cost?
