Max Live just put whatever cars apply for the top 100 (obviously selected from that list) so whats the difference Joff

Looks like there's no difference then Donna. Shame, I would have expected a top 100 to have been chosen from their own cover/feature cars, not from whatever can be trawled up from the internet.

So if only 99 people send their cars details and I submit my A-reg 1.0 Nova with more rust than metal... I'd be on the stand?

No they get loads of applications and then select what they think is the top 100. They can't rely on the features cause half them people don't have the cars anymore, cant make it, don't go to shows. Plus theres other decent cars that haven't been in fast Car. So personally I can't see what the problems is

they get say 500 applications and choose the best 100.

you see what the score is.. they ask a few companies for a hand full of cars each, but not all will be accepted i thought that fletch's etc would be ideal well worth going on

No problem Donna, just thought they'd have their own idea of top 100 without getting input from other places.

I understand cars come and go, but the magazines are trying to portray the image that they're the people that have sourced the best the UK (or wherever) has to offer.

They still do, say a few companies supply there suggestions etc, they select the best from there, its not hard... They could easily do it themselves but we are just helping out with some we thought would be worth while...

At the end of the day if they're sourcing the best cars in the uk they have to ask around by using the Internet/magazine/application forms.

Theres some top cars on cs and i think some of them deserve to be in a top 100 catorgory.
