i heard it was coz some guy was doing a bungee jump on it and they didnt connect it up right and he wen splat - basically, we were talking about it at a break and i wondered if anyone knew if this was true or false?

AFAIK, Noel's House Party was axed because of ratings.

The Late Late Breakfast Show was axed because of an accident that happened to someone performing a stunt - possibly the bungee one you mentioned.
