i know mate i love it to bits,
just cant afford the 2ltr insurance and my plans will cost me way over 4k for the car to get it featured, i want to get a feature, with this or another car by the end of 2004!
Anyone heard of blade street mods? reputation??

ah right, n the no claims dont count on tpft, well what engine size doesnt mean u wont get a feature,just do a lot on the car itself, i seen 1.2 8v vegas featured once, looked well nice

Yep- owned by Craig Winstone and based in Essex! Craig is a top fella!
And he's also got very good connections...so if ur looking for little bits and pieces he's pretty good at organsing sponsors etc!

Anyway.... I think u should keep ur car (nice wheels! hehe!) Don't go too much lower than £3500 tho if u do!

mine is £1300 fc on my own name starting in 2 weeks, wait a yr then put 2ltr in! or buy a 1.6 turbo nova with 150 bhp and insure under mums name!?

i have spoken to balde street regarding a pearlescent respray, smooth boot, bonnet vent, vented wings, sprayed scuttle, mirrors, door handles etc etc
i can go ahead with that and 2ltr next year maybe? or do i sell up??

Yeah I agree with VenomTurbo..... do the conversion later on- I mean ur only 18 now and have 1.4 16v so it's not like u've got a particularly slow car anyways (IMO)

what are dawsons like? they expensive? ive been quoted around £1800 for the work i said earlier
