i have seen a Creative 3D Blaster 4 Titanium 4800 SE for £160. Would anyone recomend this or maybe suggest something better at a reasonable price?

If you're willing to spend 160 odd quid, then a radeon 9700 would be my choice... or a second hand 9700pro... the only other faster cards cost 250 upwards...

Whats the difference between a Ti4800 and Ti4800SE apart from 2GB of bandwidth??? I have seen the Ti4800 (faster of the two) for 6 quid more than the SE model. Should i buy this?

Ebuyer has a Ti4800SE chipset for £133!!! Thats £30 cheaper than anywhere else so far. But for £166 i can have a Ti4800 which is quicker. Should i invest and get something with a bit more poke for £30?

I feel that a 1Mb VGA card for a fiver would be sufficient to your needs.

You asked me to read this thread and help, so I have.

I fear that you are somewhat ungrateful for my help.

I remember on the first PC my dad bought, it was a DX66 66mhz AST Advantage Adventure. It was awesome with 8mb RAM and a 2mb video card.

I once had an AST Advantage Pentium 75. It cost me £999 at the time. I suspect it is now worth £9.99.
