A chip is an expensive but easy way to get a major power gain. Go for it if you can afford it.

Make sure u got a boom boom cold air feed to the BFO, and if u got the money upgrade to a Viper.

Uprate spark leads, i cant think of much more lol

"Sports" spark plug leads is the biggest wind up and waste of money going!

On a little low power GM engine its gonna make fuck all difference, except to your wallet.

Go for a Lexmaul/Matzel inlet manifold.

leads make jack difference, standard ones are probably better than most so called performance leads anyway. Same with spark plugs.

A chip wont make a major difference on a standard engine, and only major difference on a tuned one is the rev limit.

Unichips are the way forward.

Inlet manifold replacement is a must, if I started again with one of these engines, I'd do the inlet manifold before an exhaust or filter.
