6000 rpm you gimp
I prefer the GAU-8/A, 30mm, 7-Barrel Gatling or here used as part of the Goalkeeper AMS on a ship
Goalkeeper is an extremely accurate weapon system for close-in defense of ships from high-speed missiles and aircraft. The effectiveness required to stop incoming threats is provided by the 4,200 shot per minute, seven-barrel, GAU-8/A Gatling gun, firing lethal 30mm Missile Piercing Discarding Sabot (MPDS) ammunition.
Automatic and continuous threat evaluation and target prioritization are performed by the search radar which relays 2D target information to the dual frequency (X and KA band pencil beam) track radar. Extremely accurate and continuous track data at very low target altitudes is provided by the KA band pencil beam. Continuous, automatic comparison is made of the signal/ noise ratios of the X and KA band returns to ensure uninterrupted tracking in a degraded environment. Anti-clutter and ECCM features also safeguard accurate tracking.
Goalkeeper is a joint effort of Hollandse Signaalapparaten B.V. of the Netherlands and General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products of the United States. Fully integrated, Goalkeeper combines a high-performance mount, gun, search and track radar and related computational electronics. Fifty-five Goalkeeper systems have been delivered to some of the world's most sophisticated navies, including the Royal Navy, the Royal Netherlands' Navy, the Korean Navy and others
