Right My car spontaniously revs up to 3000 rpm on its own at traffic lights and cuts out, when driving the revs shoot down to 0 and it cuts out, when i hit a big bump it cuts out !!!! If i drop the clutch quick enough it dosnt cut out, and now the engine wont turn off when i remove the keys you can dive it with no keys but only with the lights on, lights turn ignition on and off.
This just started to happen one day? whats up, oh and the side lights are on all the time with the engine running
HELP!!!!
The cutting out happens intermitten

take it to a proper vauxhall place and let them sort it
hmmmmmm i had the same problem with my corsa (i.e. the u take the keys out and the engine keeps running, this was because i had taken the hazard light unit out of the dash and put it back in upside down, and that caused it, i just fliped it round and its ok now)
i also have the high revving problem, but its never cut out on me
it can be a million things, the TPS, ICV, 1 of the wiring harnesses, ait flow meter, ecu or god knows what else
u can speed 100s trying to guess what it is, or take it to vaux, my cars their now due to the hig revving problem

sounds like a dodgy bit of wiring somewhere. Just check all the wiring you can find, dont forget by the ecu and fusebox.
