but that's with a full tank of fuel, spare wheel, tools and jack and some other crap so i reckon the car alone weighs about 855 - 865 in total

The kerbweight of a bog standard Corsa B 1.7D is 932kg, so youve put on 3 kgs.....

My Corsa B SXi has a kerbweight of 911kg, so loosing all that interior hasnt saved you much weight....

And ive got a Airbag,
.....and a Stereo...........
...and Power Steering..
Oh, and some carpet....
.....and rear seats.........
.....and head lining........

I would have thought your car would be lighter than that....

that is with a full tank, and 40 kgs of tools and crap
