Just signed up for the free one. Is there any limitations on the free account compared to the standard one?

Or is it that it only lasts for a certain period of time?

I just put some HTML code in the co-branding bit in fotki settings and change the backgrounds and stuff.

Go to your fotki site: http://public.fotki.com/rhoran00/

Then click 'login' at the top, once logged in at the very top there should be a link that says 'settings'!! Click this then on the page which loads click co-branding!

when i link my pics they dissappear after a day or two to where i linked them
