Coming off a roundabout he floored it and i floored it, to my surprise i went past him on the right hand side didnt realise these were slow, i drive a corsa 1.4 16v

VTR is 90 bhp, and 9.9 to 60mph

corsa sport/sri is 90bhp, and 10.5 to 60mph

not alot in it although if he was thrashin it he would have crept past you

Phase one saxo VTR is slightly slower than the phase two (i think!)

those figures are slightly out too thinkin about it, but i know the saxo is slightly quicker!

i have a 1.4 16v corsa and it feels crap, the VTR must be appauling.

i have put a K&N on my Corsa, made the throttle response a lot better, i also use a higher octane fuel i think Optimax its called

I always seem to beat Saxo's in my Sport

He he, its great fun.

Std 1.4 16v wouldn't beat the saxo if driven hard. End of really

Yes std VTR would beat a std 1.4 sport...


I would sooner have a std VTR than a STD 1.4 sport there a lot nicer std.
