Well went down this morning to have a look and as i came down the hill into the area where the body shop was i was worried to see what they had done,

As my friend turned in i saw it right away, looked so good!

Im very happy with the work the bodyshop has done for me and for only £100 i think i have a complete bargin! It must of taken them a fair time smooth it all out, and i know with the fine areas they had to do it by hand.

Anyway heres the pics of her, just gave her a quick wash, and i was hoping i could polish it too, but the rain has moved in and looks set for the night now,

Theres a few more pics in my garage,

I know your all thinking, hmm looks funny as the arches have not been done etc, well i think so to (LOL) but im glad i decided to get the front done first, this way i can see what the bodyshop was like and see if i was happy with their work. I will be booking it in soon to have the rest done at have my sideskirts fitted which came in the post today too

Cheers Pete

i like it alot, did they just smooth and spray the plastic bits or did they smooth and spray all of it so its a brilliant match?

must say it looks cracking. I might be getting one of the new single wiper kits fitted this weekend, not the first, dunno if i will be the second cause fletch has one! But weather permitting i'l have it a week before its in the shops

hehe

they smoothed down the tops of the archs, top bit of bumper and grill for fogs by hand,

first they primed the areas then rubbed them down,

once it was really smooth i think they just sprayed the whole bumper,

i know they did spray the whole lot, but not sure if they primed the whole lot,

yeah its a quality job, really cant complain at all,

went to another bodyshop locally and they wanted 2-300 for the same job!

pays to shop around, but i know somtimes you dont always come of best paying cheap, thats why i just got the front done first.

These guys know their vauxhalls mind, they do all the crash repairs for the local vaux dealer here,

That looks excellent mate, looks real classy being fully colour coded black. I think if it was a lighter colour, or red it would look gay but in black it looks wicked.

Nah i think with a loud kit light colours like Red and silver need to be fully colour coded, but i think with a subtle kit or standard bumpers Red and silver etc are best left the way they are. Only my personal opinion.

he does not give quotes on in kits until he has it there infront of him, hes a sound chap, but hes given quotes before, and the kit has been rubbish and took him ages to put on, thus he lost out,

hes very fair, buy the kit then go to him
